The Elliot Project has explored many routes of minimal and tech house over the past few years but this release
is taking things in a powerful direction with the essence of charming warehouse vibes which the UK dominated
in the 80’s. These tracks have been designed for aircraft hangers and Castle parties…
Koldar is label head and artist of Foreign Language Records and has worked with the likes of K-Klass, Mystic Bill
and Justin Robertson. His music delivers huge synths, raw basslines and energetic percussion so no surprise
that James Zabiela, Annie Nightingale and Tensake support his sound.
‘Brighter Days’ drops you straight into a drenching of old School vocal, rave era pianos and a bassline line that
will certify the wining bass face at any level. Nasty snares and broken beats sit perfectly inside this framework.
Campbell takes this in a direction of mysterious powerful dark room house with his signature synths, acid
trippy b lines and relentless drums.
‘Do Without You’ begins to twist the cut off pots to maximum levels with arpeggios screaming, filtered synth
lines and full force basslines to get you absorbed into something you will not want to end. Koldars skill is
clearly apparent and his modern take on an old school sound is extraordinary. Frazer grabs this to close the
release and injects an alternative approach to high intensity ruthless house, hooky acid basslines and huge
open hats that deliver a full body work out.''
